If you’ve been thinking a shiny new video would be just the thing to round out your business’s marketing endeavors, you’re probably right. Video is expected to make up 82% of internet traffic by 2022 (Cisco, 2019) and it’s a consumer’s favorite type of social media content to see from a brand (Animoto, 2018).

Help with marketing videos
But there are so many different video varieties (testimonials, explainers, and promos, oh my!), it can be hard to decide which is the best fit for your business and goals. That’s why I put together this handy flowchart to help you get started. Once you’ve arrived at an endpoint, check out the list below for more info about each video type.

Remember that while we are experts, we aren’t mind readers! There are many variables to consider when creating content for your business, and these are only recommendations.

What it is: Interview-based video featuring customers’ positive experiences with a product or service
Best for: Established businesses and/or a product that’s easy to understand

So, what’ll it be? An educational video series? A fast-paced promo? If you’re still not sure what kind of video makes the most sense for your business — or need help with production — give us a call! We’ll be happy to help. After all, some things just can’t be decided with a flowchart.
