Almost Productive Top Episodes
by Addie Justus on October 2, 2025
After two years of producing Almost Productive and nearly 30 episodes released, we’ve covered a lot of ground. An interesting part about this creative endeavor is learning what topics resonate most with our audience. We regularly track metrics for episodes and take inspiration from well-performing themes to plan future topics. (This is a piece of advice you can use for any medium: Follow the data, and create more content based on what your audience enjoys or responds to most.) So, without further ado, here are our most popular episodes.

We’ll always follow our audience’s lead, but this wouldn’t be a complete list without touching on our personal favorites.
Our Favorite Episodes
- Shawn: My favorites to do are the Super Bowl Commercials. It’s topical, our tastes are different and we get to complain (which we do very well).
- Julie: Web accessibility. We strive to distill aspects of the marketing landscape to make them easy to understand. A lot of times, I learn new things myself. This episode had some great information for businesses on the what, why and how of making the online world easy for everyone to use.
- Nick: The Super Bowl Commercial Coffee Break episodes — whenever there's a chance to talk about football, I'm a fan. And the Snake Oil Coffee Break episode is also a favorite because I love some good old-fashioned, friendly competition.
- Addie: Best Super Bowl Commercials. As a football fan and marketing professional, the Super Bowl is my Super Bowl. I love breaking down brand strategies, praising successful spots and (as nicely as possible) critiquing brands that bombed. Our LinkedIn Marketing episode is up there too — it’s a great platform for businesses, and I enjoyed getting into the nitty gritty.
