Fort Hays Tech | North Central
Fort Hays Tech | North Central, located in Beloit and Hays, Kansas, is a fully accredited college with over 20 academic focus areas. From business and health care to construction and technology, the college’s students receive the education they need for a successful professional future.
Previously known as North Central Kansas Technical College, Fort Hays Tech | North Central partnered with Fort Hays State University and Northwest Kansas Technical College on a new strategic affiliation initiative to improve educational opportunities in rural Kansas. As part of this initiative, we were happy to create a clean, eye-catching website that serves as an informational hub and helps promote the school to potential new students.
Website Design and Development
We worked with Fort Hays Tech | North Central to discuss likes and dislikes in a website, develop functionality, establish page elements and create a content plan. The resulting design composition incorporated their new logo and branding elements.
One of the most important aspects of the project involved ensuring the website functions as a useful tool with important resources for students, parents, faculty and staff. This included setting up and configuring a new enrollment application form that allows for secure applications and payment integration.
We made sure to develop the site theme with a responsive mobile design that easily adapts to a variety of different screens and devices. We also implemented and trained Fort Hays Tech | North Central on the content management system (CMS), giving them full control to edit and contribute content on the site moving forward.
