Osborne Industries Inc. is a robust plastics manufacturer based in Kansas. To help the company engage audiences, present itself well online and provide a smooth customer experience, New Boston Creative Group updated and redesigned two of its websites: an original equipment manufacturer site and a livestock equipment site.

To understand Osborne Industries' design preferences and the goals for each website, we met with representatives from their team and discussed possibilities. Once we understood requirements for the websites, we researched themes and frameworks that could reduce time and costs while still providing enhanced website features. Next, we created design compositions and presented them for feedback. Once the layouts were approved, we began refreshing the websites.

Livestock Equipment Website

Osborne Industries had an existing livestock website, so it was important for us to retain existing resources and vital information. Because of this, we retained their website portal and ensured it was always there for customers. To update the site, we refreshed the energy savings calculator, added products to the e-commerce site and updated shipping options.

OEM Website

As a manufacturer for other companies, Osborne Industries wanted an upgraded selection tool to help customers more easily select the materials and processes they wanted for their products. In addition, they asked for a tool to help customers compare certain offerings and make decisions. After researching the possibilities and presenting different options, NBCG integrated the selected tools into the website development process.

Content Optimization and Development

Using insights discovered during SEO research, we optimized existing content on the top Osborne Industries landing pages. This process included adding metadata, updating website copy to effectively incorporate key terms and phrases, enhancing content on thin pages and implementing other best practices.

We also worked with the Osborne Industries team to brainstorm a list of blog ideas using each website’s business priorities, key term research and target audience. NBCG interviewed company representatives when needed and wrote 12 blogs to be housed on the websites.
