The K-State Student Union has been host to the campus and the community since 1956. While undergoing a $25 million expansion, it wanted a brand assessment and overhaul, and a new, responsive website.
We measured the public’s perception of the Union as a place to hold events, meetings and conferences. From focus groups, key-person interviews and a digital discovery, the consulting process allowed us to provide the Union with extensive market research and make targeted recommendations, including internal process and staffing assessments.
One of the major deliverables was a completely new website that incorporated:
- More flexibility and functionality
- Improved user experience
- Ability to easily update
Within the first quarter of launching, the website saw a 50% increase in users.
Additional recommendations have been implemented since the building expansion was completed in 2017.
