The Kansas Department of Agriculture’s Dairy Inspection Program hired NBCG in 2016 to completely revamp its training videos for milk haulers, who test and transport milk from dairies to other production facilities. Milk haulers must pass a test based on the video training before becoming licensed to work.

The existing video was 45 minutes long, was outdated, and didn’t allow the viewer to select the content relevant to his or her particular branch of the dairy industry.

We worked with KDA staff to break up the content into 6 separate video modules, so milk haulers could choose the content they needed for licensure. NBCG edited preliminary scripts written by KDA dairy professionals, and wrote an entirely new script on food defense and protecting the milk supply.

We shot video at several dairy facilities, then created graphics, chose voice talent and music, and edited the modules, which were then incorporated into an online training and testing program.
