Finney County’s strong agricultural, professional services, and retail sectors are the foundation of its tourism and visitor draw. Garden City, the county seat, has a catchment area of about 400,000 people who shop, dine and do business in this extremely diverse community. The county wanted to boost awareness of all it has to offer.
Strategic Branding Suite
To develop a new logo, tagline, and branding concept, we sought community input through several channels. We built a project website, called “Garden Fresh,” to serve as an online forum for the process; held a series of public meetings, focus groups and key-person interviews; and aggregated input. We collaborated with the client to develop a logo, tagline, and branding suite that would reflect the community’s diverse population and rich agricultural heritage.
The concept received much positive feedback and Garden City, Finney County and the Chamber of Commerce also adopted the new brand. The logo inspired a new logo design for the city-owned Lee Richardson Zoo.
